Coffee, conversation, and community: The Training Committee sessions are back at CIC bioGUNE

Between February and May, CIC bioGUNE, member of BRTA, hosted a series of informal coffee sessions aimed at strengthening communication between PhD candidates and the Training Committee. This initiative has been especially well-received by early-stage doctoral researchers, offering a relaxed space for conversation, connection, and collaboration.

These sessions were designed to promote open dialogue in small, randomly selected groups. Participants were encouraged to share their backgrounds, express ideas, discuss concerns, and explore future plans. The informal setting helped build trust and sparked insightful exchanges that benefit both the students and the committee.

The initiative continues to grow as a platform for constructive feedback and creative thinking, contributing to a stronger sense of community within CIC bioGUNE.

Interested in joining the conversation?

If you're a PhD candidate, we invite you to join us for future sessions - a chance to share, connect, and be heard over a cup of coffee.
