Ikerbasque-AECC-CIC bioGUNE program for the recruitment of an Ikerbasque Research Fellow focused on cancer metabolism

CIC bioGUNE has established a strategic research line on translational oncology, which led to the development of the PREMETACAN program (Precision metabolism for next generation cancer management) funded by the AECC.

This research program is built on two scientific goals:

  • To ascertain the interaction between systemic and cancer metabolism
  • To strengthen the area of cancer glycobiology

As part of this strategy, we are aiming to recruit a talented young scientist to develop a research line in this topic.

INSTITUTION: CIC bioGUNE (www.cicbiogune.es)
POSITION: Researcher position.
TYPE OF POSITION: Tenure track (Ikerbasque Research Fellow), full-time

CONDITIONS:

  • Tenure track, full-time position, based at CIC bioGUNE.
  • Preferred starting date: Before December 2025.
  • Competitive institutional support and integration into the long-term scientific strategy of the research center.
