Markel Olano, Head of the Gipuzkoa Government, visits CIC biomaGUNE's facilities

On 5th March the Head of the Gipuzkoa Government, Markel Olano, visited CIC biomaGUNE's facilities at Miramón Technology Park in Donostia, accompanied by the Gipuzkoan Minister for Mobility and Territorial Planning, Ms. Arantza Tapia, in order to become acquainted at first hand with the projects being worked on at the centre.

During the visit, CIC biomaGUNE's general manager, José M Mato, and the centre's scientific director, Manuel Martín Lomas, led a tour of the facilities and pointed out the current state of progress of construction work on the Molecular Imaging Unit, which is planned to come on stream in late 2008, when it will be Spain's biggest technology platform.
