UPV/EHU awards one of our groups with the Special Doctoral Dissertation Award in Health Sciences

The Postgraduate Committee of the UPV/EHU awarded Dr. Nuria Martinez-Lopez with the Special Doctoral Dissertation Award in Health Sciences in the year 2010/2011 for her doctoral thesis entitled, "THE ROLE OF THE SERINE/THREONINE KINASE LKB1 IN THE PROLIFERATION OF HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMAS DERIVED FROM NON-ALCOHOLIC STEATOHEPATITIS (NASH)". Dr. Nuria Martinez-Lopez's research work was mentored by Dr. Maria Luz Martínez-Chantar, and her thesis was defended through the Department of Cell Biology and Histology at the University of the Basque Country
