A consortium of Biscayan entities will develop an innovative computer tool to predict hepatic toxicity

Participating in the project, called LIVERTOX, are the research centre
CIC bioGUNE, the companies Owl Genomics, MD Renal and Faes
Farma, which is financed by the Provincial Council of Biscay.

Apart from the clinical importance of the project, hepatotoxicity is the
most frequent reason for removing a medicine from the market.
