CIC bioGUNE presents its Technology Platforms to CIBERehd

On 7th of October CIC bioGUNE presented its Technology Platforms to the Centre for Networked Biomedical Research, CIBERehd, during the workshop held in the Basque centre's headquarters. The seminar was organised by Mª Luz Martínez Chantar, Group Leader of CIC bioGUNE's Metabolomic Unit.

The Centre for Networked Biomedical Research into Hepatic and Digestive Diseases (CIBERehd), which includes the best Spanish scientific groups working in this field, uses CIC bioGUNE's state-of-the-art facilities for its research activities, following the agreement signed between the two centres.

Technology platforms are key tools for scientific research, since they enable the management of an enormous amount of data and facilitate large-scale analyses.

The platforms presented during the workshop were: Genomics (led by Ana María Aransay), Proteomics (Félix Elortza), Metabolomics (Owl Genomics), Silencing (Edurne Berra) and Cytogenetics (Luis Parada).
