The
Electron Microscopy Platform (EMP) is a central facility offering access to transmission electron microscopes (TEM/cryo-TEM) to the CIC bioGUNE Structural Biology Unit researchers. The EMP instrumentation is also available to researchers from outside CIC bioGUNE.
The mission of the electron microscopy (EM) platform at CIC bioGUNE is to offer high tech instrumentation, competitive service, specialized training and support in projects requiring high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to determinate the structure of large macromolecular complexes.
Since there are many scientists that may be interested in incorporating EM studies in their own project, the EM platform at CIC bioGUNE offers the infrastructure as a specialized service, offering sample preparation, data collection and data processing for the specific user’s requirements.
